I grew up right here in East Cobb County and earned my bachelor’s degree in health science from Georgia Southern University. Before becoming a teacher, I spent more than 25 years in healthcare as a case manager. Helping others has always been my passion, and I'm thrilled to bring that passion to the classroom.
I recently graduated from Brenau University with my Master's degree in Elementary Education, along with Reading and Dyslexia endorsements. Although I am new to the classroom, I am committed to creating a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to learn.
When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and friends. I have one brother and two amazing nieces (ages 15 and 18) who keep life fun! I also love swimming, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and going on adventures with my sweet dog, Piper.
I truly believe that the best learning happens when teachers and families work together. I look forward to getting to know each of you and partnering with you to make this a wonderful and successful school year for your child.
Thank you for trusting me with your precious kiddo. It is truly an honor, and I can't wait for an amazing year together! If you ever have questions or need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. My door is always open!
