My name is Andrea Llerena, and I will be your child’s Spanish teacher this year. I am glad to welcome you and your child to my classroom. I am from Perú and have been with ICSAtlanta since we opened. This is my 9th year here, and I have been teaching a total of 19 years. I really love teaching! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with our 1st graders :). Family is the most important to me. I am happily married to my husband Julio, and I we have 3 kids. Priscila finished college at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in Business Administration, and she is working in Atlanta. Julio, my second son, graduate from Johns Hopkins University; his major was Molecular Biology. Last June, he graduated from the medical school at Northwest University in Chicago. He also got married last summer. My youngest son Neil finished his first year at Georgia State University and is transferring to the University of Georgia in the spring. In my free time, I like to dance the traditional Peruvian dance “La marinera” and salsa, travel, and read.
